Prophetic Art Weekend

Our prophetic art weekends are all about becoming quiet so that you can hear God’s voice and to be obedient. To help you regain your creativity if Satan has stolen it and that Father God will show Himself to you. Remember, you don’t have to be artistic – it’s about the message that you carry out through your artwork and the seed that you can sow in other people’s lives.

The workshops usually start at 18:00 on a Friday evening with dinner thereafter. This opportunity is also used to socialise with attendees, receive information about creativity and hear the testimony of Zieta.

Saturday morning from 08:30 to 09:30 Lizelle Graaff shares a message from the Word before the creativity starts. Each person’s project gets personal attention from Lizelle and Zieta, and they will guide you with ideas and suggestions. The most important thing, however, is that each person hears from the Father himself. This session continues up to 17:00.

20160220_174820Some people paint or draw, while others do mosaic, pewter or make a collage. Others go into the field to do photography or just to sit on a rock and listen to God’s voice.

Each person brings his own medium and art accessories, although a variety of tools will be available as well.

That evening there will be a group discussion where everyone can share the inspiration behind their artwork and what they got from the Father during the day. Everyone functions as a part of the body of Christ and we are lead by the Holy Spirit – to serve, repair, heal and encourage.

Sunday morning, if the weather permits, we’ll walk to the cave (approximately 15 minutes walk) where we will have communion. The weekend usually ends at about 14:00 on the Sunday afternoon, just after lunch. Those who want to continue their stay until Monday are welcome to do so at R100 extra.
Costs for the weekends are R950 per person including meals and accommodation, and dates for Prophetic Art Weekends for 2018 will be announced on this page soon.

If you would like to book, please complete the online application form. Your booking will be confirmed once we receive a 50% deposit.

Please bring comfortable clothes, hiking boots, rain jacket and warm clothes, especially for the winter camps. Remember to bring extra money for the prophetic art that will be on sale.

From Clarens, drive 15km in the direction of Golden Gate (R712).

At Di Bus Stop (the big red bus and our roadside stall), turn right towards Kiara Lodge (we use the same entrance).

When you find a “Bergwoning” sign, turn right onto the gravel road.

You will find the farmhouse on your right hand side.

Come with big expectations because God wants to do a big thing in your heart and life.

Only God can change a mess into a message!

Feedback on our camps.

Ek wou nie Sondag huis toe gaan nie.  By die huis was al die ‘probleme’.

Terug by die huis was ek ‘n ander vrou.

By die 2de kamp het my man saam met my gekom.

Ben Calitz

God het met my kom werk, my stilte gegee, my laat rus.

As mense so saam in die teenwoordigheid van die Here was dan kom hierdie vers altyd by my op:

Weereens baie dankie,
Ben Calitz

Enduro bike race for charity at Di Bus Stop in Clarens

DSC_0783At Di Bus Stop we believe that everyone should be giving back to the community. While brainstorming creative ways to do our part, the idea of an Enduro Bike Race for the benefit of CANSA was born.

Thus, on the 5th of September, despite the pouring rain and unpleasant wind factors, we hosted our very first Enduro in Clarens! Spectators cheered the riders on while enjoying the unique cuisine of Di Bus Stop between laps.

The thirty or so riders faced many interesting challenges on the professionally planned course. Some of the technical challenges included water crossings and mud. The riders had to do some fancy footwork to succeed. However, this just made the ride worth the effort.

We had about R8000 worth of prizes to dish out, but since it was purely a “fun ride” no placing was announced.

DSC_0791At the close of the event we hosted a braai and everyone could relax and socialise. All the proceeds for the event were donated to CANSA, and we hope to support many more charities through our yearly event.

We’re looking forward to the next Enduro that will be held in February 2016. If you would like to be notified when entries open, please send us a message and we will add you to our mailing list.
